Alex Lopes is a first-year medical student at the University of California San Francisco. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2019 where she studied Psychological & Brain Sciences. After college, Alex worked as a clinical research assistant for 3 years at Weill Cornell Medicine and volunteered with Bellevue Victim Services Program as an emergency room patient advocate.
