Biography
I have served as principal investigator on numerous trials focused on all breast cancer subtypes, with the goal of tailoring treatment to tumor biology. Additionally, a long-standing research interest of mine is the treatment of hormone receptor positive disease, as most lobular tumors are. I incorporated my significant experience in clinical trial design, conduct, and implementation of biomarker rich translational research into the PLUMB Study. I am also interested in the impact of breast cancer diagnosis and treatment on young women and started a registry that serves as a resource for research and support.
