Yunn-Yi Chen, MD, PhD

Lobular carcinoma has been one of Dr. Chen's clinical and research interests. Her goal is to use the results from immunohistochemical and genetic studies to refine the criteria for pathologic diagnosis. She is studying the molecular and genetic pathways in breast cancer, especially as they relate to lobular carcinoma. Dr. Chen has also been involved in pathology education, ranging from teaching medical trainees to being invited to give lectures and serve as an expert panelist in breast pathology for national and international meetings.
